The SCILL Stakeholder Group
The SCILL Stakeholder group meets every other month for a couple of hours. The meeting are sometime at SCILL or at other accessible places within Sutton. The group is made up of people who use SCILL services and other services for disabled people in Sutton and who have an interest in other services for disabled people in Sutton. The meetings are social and fairly informal.

SCILL staff work with the group in order to develop the organisation in a way which meets service user needs; the group helps SCILL to shape their activities, sessions and services by talking about their experiences of a particular class or service, thinking about other things that they would like to provided, by using their combined voice to challenge policy within the borough, help SCILL to develop policy and marketing materials making sure that it is clearly understood, help create information documents, become involved in staff recruitment and many other interesting topics.
