Samantha Edwards is the Chief Officer

Elaine McDaniel is a Training and Support Advisor in the Self Directed Support Service. She has been at SCILL for 9 years. Previously she managed the Information Service for a number of years. Elaine will be moving into a new role in SCILL in the near future and will be missed by the SDSS team.

Margaret is Senior Information Officer and has been at SCILL for 7 years.

Dawn is a Support and Training Advisor for the Self Directed Support Service and has been at SCILL for 8 years. She was a receptionist at Scill for many years and moved into the SDSS team 4 months ago and has gained a huge amount of knowledge in a short space of time.

Cary is a support worker and has been at SCILL for 5 ½ years.  Previous to that, Cary worked with deaf and blind people for 3 ½ years.  Cary says ‘I love working at SCILL as I get to see people improve day to day.  I get to help people achieve!’ Cary is also stage manager for the Annual Xmas Panto.

Wendy is Sherwood café coordinator.  Prior to this, Wendy worked at SCILL as a support worker for 3 ½  years.  Her cake baking skills made her an ideal candidate to run the café.  Wendy was referred to SCILL after an operation on her back.  She got involved in the employment project which helped her get back into the work place.  She began first by volunteering at the centre, then when a job opportunity came along she took it and hasn’t looked back.

Fred works as a Training and Support Advisor in the Self Directed Support Service. He has been at SCILL for 5½ years and knows all there is to know about direct payments and many other topics. He is an asset to the team.

Elaine Atkins is the Administrator

Cathy is a Support Worker and has been at SCILL for 5 years.

Edwina McCarthy has been Access Officer at SCILL for 2 years.  Having lived with Cerebral Palsy her whole life, Edwina understands the problems and barriers facing people with disabilities.  She hasn’t let that stop her though.  She managed to achieve a first class honours degree in Social Science!

Diane Scott is the Self Directed Support Service Finance Officer and has been at SCILL for 3 years. She looks after the finance for the direct payments clients who use the SCILL Financial Administrative Service (FAS). If you need to know anything about direct payments finance she is the first point of contact.

Nicky Davies is the Self Directed Support Service Manager. She has been with SCILL nearly 3 years and enjoys the varied role that her job brings.
