Like most local charities, SCILL does not have a dedicated fundraiser in post so much of the work is undertaken by staff and volunteers.   As a charity it is essential that SCILL raises funds to remain operating.   So, how do we raise our money?

· Working with the local authority to provide contracted services
· Applying to charitable trusts for grants to fund projects
· Undertaking community fundraising such as quizzes, race nights, bingo evenings
· Working with local business for sponsorship
· Tapping into the ‘community days’ offered by local business
· Developing social enterprises and income generating projects
· Working in partnership with other organisations, both locally and further afield
