Like most local charities, SCILL does not have a dedicated fundraiser in post so much of the work is undertaken by staff and volunteers. As a charity it is essential that SCILL raises funds to remain operating. So, how do we raise our money?

• Working with the local authority to provide contracted services
• Applying to charitable trusts for grants to fund projects
• Undertaking community fundraising such as quizzes, race nights, bingo evenings
• Working with local business for sponsorship
• Tapping into the 'community days' offered by local business
• Developing social enterprises and income generating projects
• Working in partnership with other organisations, both locally and further afield
